Public Toilets

I feel proud (and relieved) that after months of hard work (and a very soiled carpet), Riaan is fully toilet trained!

He's been so excited about his 'ability' that he loves checking out the loo at every possible outing we have..
Even if I have diligently ensured he has used the wash room before going out, he HAS to come up with "Mumma I have to wee".

So be it the park, the library, the playground, the mall, the supermarket, ANYWHERE, we go visit the loo coz he wants to CHECK IT OUT.

And the checking out is not restricted to weeing....it goes all the way from the size, colour, shape of the potty....the type of flush, how many attempts to pump the water, the wash basin, hand dryer and more.

And I, the paranoid mum, warn him "DONT TOUCH ANYTHING IN PUBLIC TOILETS. They are dirty and can spread germs"

Am proud of the training coz he makes sure he does not touch anything in a 'dirty' public toilet.

Last weekend we were at a friends house for lunch and having a great time, until Riaan had to .....WEE.

So we went to the loo.......nice and pretty, fresh smelling etc etc...and now i assume that Riaan knows its someone's house!

Riaan instantly reacts, "Mumma this is a VERY CLEAN PUBLIC TOILET! Can I press the flush"

How hilariously embarassing !
